So, I guess that means I should be expecting another 23 e-mails?
Finally, somebody was smart enough to realize that The Neverending Story is prime material for a stage musical:

The beloved children's novel "The Neverending Story" will make its stage debut featuring music from the rock band Heart.

Seattle Children's Theatre will present the stage adaptation by David S. Craig as part of its holiday line-up.

Michael Ende adapted his novel for the popular 1984 screen adaptation, which has spawned several sequels and a large following.

The fantastic creatures of The Neverending Story will be created by puppet designer Douglas Paasch, with set design by Carey Wong. David Bennett will direct.

So what I can't figure out is why this is being relegated to children's theatre. In a world where witches belt while standing on a platform, and where Chitty Chitty Bang Bang makes you believe a car can fly!, why is it that nobody's throwing a gajillion dollars to make a visually elaborate broadway show of this? It's like a tourist goldmine.
Steve on Broadway notes that if you've bought Ticketbastard tickets for shows being cancelled through the strike, the full price of your ticket is going to be refunded, minus the $3.10 per-ticket processing fee and any delivery fees. Of course, Telecharge won't be pulling this crap. SOB suggests:
If you've purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, do what I have done in the past when a show has been cancelled -- call and politely demand all fees back. If you are told they cannot, politely ask to speak with a supervisor. Please note that it's important not to lose your temper!
If they refuse, contact your credit card company and set up a dispute with them. There is absolutely no reason why Ticketmaster should withhold any fees when you, as the audience member are not at fault.
Remember, the stagehands are not the enemy. And the producers are not the enemy. THE REAL ENEMY IS TICKETMASTER.

Strike against Ticketmaster. Now that's something producers and stagehands alike can come together on!

The Strike blah blah blah...

The only show I'm seeing between now and December is New York Rangers vs. New Jersey Devils and the not-strike-affected Cymbeline. So I don't feel like talking about the strike.

Here's my question for the day: Perfect Crime. Am I the only idiot who cashed in on a comp ticket to this crap a few years back? Has anybody else seen it? How is it still running?

Hey, Foster Family,

wanna adopt me?

Oh, I guess that ends up being some weird sort of pun.
They did 3 full numbers on the Today Show, and you can watch all 3 of them right here:
See? Much cheaper than tickets.

During the videos, do be sure to, pay attention to CHRIS FITZGERALD IN ALL THE GENIUS HE IS.
