Well, this site's been getting some exposure...

...and the e-mail responses (and some forum postings) I've been receiving have ranged from "I love the site", to notes about my misspelling of Kristen Chenoweth's name, to messages about how the people loved some of the shows I abridged and agreed with my comments on the shows they didn't like.

Of course, there's the people who think my take on Wicked was funny, and those who thought it was just wrong and that I'm biased. I should point out that I treat every single show the same. In other words, I abridge a show regardless of whether I loved it, liked it, or was really disappointed by it. Usually to the same effect... Assassins is one of my favorite shows for example, but I made fun of it as much as I made fun of Dracula (probably my least favorite of all the Broadway I abridged).

"Avenue Q", for example, is my favorite show that has come out within the past year or so. But I saw it before I began the site; If I go back and see it again anytime soon I guarantee you I'll abridge it too and rip it apart the same way I did to the others. And there's plenty of stuff to make fun of in it too.

As Rob Diamond pointed out on BroadwayWorld, "it's obviously being written by someone with a great enough love of theater to be able to poke some fun at it". I'm just some dude that likes to make fun of Broadway and wants to know if Forbidden Broadway's Gerard Alessandrini ever wants to train a successor

Anyway, hopefully the scripts give you a good laugh; I aim for nothing more.
