Why I don't hate Disney...

as much as I hate other large companies:
Drew was diagnosed with cancer last month. His chemotherapy kept him from using the Lion King tickets he had given to his girlfriend for Valentine's Day... A few days later, DHL showed up with up with all this free stuff and a nice personalized note...
Read Drew's note.

In other confusing news, [title of show] tickets go onsale today, and this piece of the playbill article saying so confused me:
An original cast recording was released on Ghostlight Records...
A Broadway recording of [title of show] is currently being planned.
I can't wait to finally have a copy of the show with all the Broadway orchestrations!.... for one piano!!!!

Well, the way I see it, I'd think that they might write some new music for the Broadway production, considering the original stops before they ever reach that point. If they don't do that, then the new recording must be so that they can...um...I'm drawing a blank.
I've seen every NYC incarnation of [tos] so far.The NYMF version ended with them putting the application with the show into the envelope, and a funny line about "well, if we send the show in now, before we find out if we get in, how will the audience know whether we made it or not?"The Ars Nova and Off-Broadway ones sorta ended with, "it's time to let go, we can't just keep writing stuff into it forever.".I'd imagine they'd have an easier time choosing an ending point with this "version". You know, the minute before opening night on Broadway, etc etc. And I'm sure they'll make other changes, updating jokes and references and the like. But still I wonder quite *how* different it'll be in the Broadway version....
All I know is I'm seeing the second preview of it, and it's going to be AMAZING!
