Sondheim's "Road Show": Abridged

I've decided that I should start saying nice things.

So, here's the good things I can say about Stephen Sondheim's Road Show:
  • The lyrics never made me cringe even once, which is a rarity for musical theatre, but would be surprising for Stephen Sondheim.
And... that's it.

Wow, it looks like you hated this show even more than I did: http://ccaggiano.typepad.com/everything_i_know_i_learn/2008/11/road-show-warmed-over-sondheim.htmlAlways a pleasure to get your acidic take on the Broadway scene. And I mean that as a compliment.
Held off on reading your review (and all others) till just now, and I agree with every word of it.
Unfortunately, Bounce was quite good. It was a show that needed a little work, but was fixable. Road Show is the opposite end - there's not even the remnants of a fixable show left.
