Broadway is Expensive. Times Square is a pain to walk through. Intermission isn't enough time to scarf down that $12 Watered-Down-Mojito which you can't bring to your seat. And that jerk in front of you is going to give a standing ovation to a reading of the telephone book. Why bother? We give you each of your (not so)

New Musical About Life of Liberace Aiming for Broadway

It's so fricking easy to create a press release saying something is heading to Broadway and have everybody report on it.

Remember the Trump Musical that was supposedly heading to Broadway? No bookwriter, no composer, no lyricist, no attached director, but that was DEFINITELY GOING TO HAPPEN.

The general tourist community doesn't want to see a musical about the life of Liberace. Maybe off-Broadway...

That Liberace rumor is another example of the Vegas-ization of Broadway and Times Square that has been happening over the last few years.

Chain restaurants, Cirque, and now Liberace.

When a magician sets up shop at the Palace, we're really in trouble.
