Broadway is Expensive. Times Square is a pain to walk through. Intermission isn't enough time to scarf down that $12 Watered-Down-Mojito which you can't bring to your seat. There are so many questions I want to know the answers to!

Is the Phantom just as whiny as he used to be?
Does he still sob like a little baby?
What happened to the other half of his face, given that he has to wear this full mask now?
Does the Phantom have any new magical powers?
And most importantly, what sort of hot dog does the Phantom order when he goes to Nathan's?

Why was Phantom 1 directed by Hal Prince with libretto by Charles Hart and Richard Stilgoue, while Phantom 2 is directed by Jack O'Brien with libretto by Glenn Slater and Ben Elton?

Does this mean it's more or less likely to flop?

That's a good question about the full mask . . . that's how it was in the original Phantom novel but why would they switch that now?

As much as I am a fan of the original and have loved it for years, I really hate ALW for making a sequel. D=
