Sometimes I lie to you

And sometimes I just sound like I'm lying to you:

Lee Hall and Elton John ("Billy Elliot") are to re-team for a tuner version of George Orwell's 1945 novella "Animal Farm."

Hall has been working on adapting the darkly comic satire on Stalinism for some time and plans to have lyrics by the fall to show John.

I feel like I saw this sketch on Mad TV or something.  "Animal Farm By Elton John", starring Elton as Snowball, with the big song and dance number "Four legs good, two legs bad".

Whatever it is you're imagining, it couldn't possibly not be worse.

As long as it's better than Lestat.
Except, it might not be. So.
Trust me, I've seen when an adaptation of a classic novel goes horribly wrong. That show was called Gone With The Wind.
